A masterpiece of Ming dynasty architecture set in a peaceful park. The circular Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests with its triple-tiered blue roof is one of China's most iconic buildings โ€” and locals come here to dance, do tai chi and play games.

Xi'an City Wall

One of the oldest, largest and best-preserved city walls in China. Rent a bike and ride the full 14km loop along the top of the wall as the sun sets and red lanterns light up below.

An iconic karst mountain with a giant natural arch carved straight through it โ€” like a half-moon hanging in the sky. Hike to the top for one of the most spectacular panoramic views over Yangshuo's painting-perfect landscape.

Train to Hong Kong
