The Journey

The most photogenic islands on earth

The Seychelles aren't just beautiful β€” they're the kind of beautiful that doesn't look real until you're standing in it. This three-day route takes you across the three main islands: La Digue's iconic granite-boulder beaches, Praslin's prehistoric jungle and bucket-list lagoons, and MahΓ©'s mountain peaks and wild south coast. Cycle between beaches, snorkel through warm clear water, and end every day with a sunset that'll ruin every other sunset for you.

4 STOPS

Day 1

Anse Source d'Argent
STOP 1
Beach

Anse Source d'Argent

Often ranked the most beautiful beach in the world. Massive smooth granite boulders frame turquoise shallows so clear they look fake. The shapes of the rocks change with every angle β€” golden hour here is unforgettable.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Enter through L'Union Estate (small fee). Rent a bike on La Digue and ride the coastal path β€” it's the best way to explore the island. Arrive early or stay for sunset to avoid the day-tripper crowds.
Grand Anse
STOP 2
Beach

Grand Anse

A wild, dramatic beach on the southern side of La Digue with strong waves and a vast stretch of soft white sand. Backed by jungle and rolling green hills β€” this is the Seychelles at its most untouched.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Strong currents make swimming risky here, but it's perfect for long walks and photos. Bike there in 20 minutes from La Passe village along a forested path.
Petite Anse
STOP 3
Beach

Petite Anse

Hidden just over the hill from Grand Anse, Petite Anse is a quieter, smaller cove framed by giant granite cliffs. The walk between the two beaches is short but the contrast is stunning β€” and you'll often have it to yourself.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: The path between Grand Anse and Petite Anse takes about 10 minutes through the trees. Wear good shoes β€” there's a small rocky climb.
Anse Cocos
STOP 4
Beach

Anse Cocos

The most rewarding beach on La Digue β€” only reached by a 30-minute jungle hike from Petite Anse. Crystal-clear natural rock pools, towering palms and almost no people. Pure castaway paradise.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Bring water, snacks and reef shoes. The hike isn't difficult but it gets hot. The natural pool at the far end is calmer for swimming than the open sea.

Day 2

Anse Lazio
STOP 1
Beach

Anse Lazio

Praslin's most iconic beach β€” a perfect curve of powder-white sand framed by giant granite boulders and lush takamaka trees. Calm turquoise water makes it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. A real bucket-list beach.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Get there early (before 10am) to beat the tour groups. There's a great little restaurant at the far end of the beach for lunch with a view.
Anse Georgette
STOP 2
Beach

Anse Georgette

A secret slice of paradise hidden inside the Constance Lemuria resort grounds β€” but free to access if you book in advance. Smaller, quieter and even more pristine than Anse Lazio, with shimmering aquamarine water.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Call Constance Lemuria a day or two ahead to reserve your free entry β€” they limit visitors. Walk through the resort to reach the beach.
VallΓ©e de Mai
STOP 3
Nature

VallΓ©e de Mai

A UNESCO World Heritage primeval palm forest that feels prehistoric β€” home to the legendary coco de mer, the largest seed in the world. Walking through this dense, ancient jungle, you half expect to see a dinosaur.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: The 1-hour Circular Trail covers the highlights. Listen for the rare black parrot β€” Seychelles' national bird, found only in this forest.

Day 3

Morne Seychellois National Park
STOP 1
Nature

Morne Seychellois National Park

MahΓ©'s mountainous green heart, covering over 20% of the island. Mist-covered peaks, dense rainforest and panoramic viewpoints over the surrounding ocean. A completely different side of Seychelles from the beaches.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Hike the Copolia Trail for the best views β€” it's a 1.5 hour round trip and rewards you with sweeping panoramas over Victoria and the Sainte Anne islands.
Anse Intendance
STOP 2
Beach

Anse Intendance

A wide, wild stretch of golden sand on MahΓ©'s south coast β€” backed by swaying palms and dramatic granite headlands. The waves here are bigger, the crowds smaller, and the sunsets some of the best in Seychelles.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: Strong currents mean swimming can be tricky β€” perfect for surfers and photographers. The Banyan Tree resort has a beach bar that's open to non-guests for sunset drinks.
Anse Major
STOP 3
Beach

Anse Major

Only reachable by a beautiful coastal hike or by boat. A small, secluded white-sand beach surrounded by jungle and granite cliffs, with crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling. The journey is half the magic.

πŸ’‘ Insider tip: The trail starts at Bel Ombre and takes about 45 minutes one way. Bring water, snacks and snorkel gear. There are no facilities at the beach.
